Spiced apples in a buttery crust is the perfect crave-able flavor for the holidays all wrapped up in an easy to prepare cheeseball.  And if you are in the mood for the warm from the oven real deal baked Apple Strudel as pictured on the packaging, we have the easiest recipe ever using just this mix, apples, puff pasty and butter!  

Ingredients

1 Holiday - Apple Strudel
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
5 cups apple; peeled, cored, and sliced
2 Tbs butter
2 Tbs flour
1 egg

Directions

Makes 2 strudel.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sautee apples in butter for about 5 minutes or until to desired tenderness.
  3. Add flour and Apple Strudel Mix (save topping for later) and stir continuously until dissolved. 
  4. Lightly roll puff pastry and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle both sheets with the contents of the topping packet.
  5. Place half of the apple mixture in the center of each pastry. Then, press the edges together, cutting any excess dough where it would overlap.
  6. Beat one egg and brush over the tops of both strudel. Lastly, cut 3-4 slits in the top of the dough for venting.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
